The present study was conducted with the aim of evaluating and prioritizing the philosophical mindset among the professors of Islamic Azad Universities in Tehran. This research was applied in terms of purpose, and also, in terms of data type, it was quantitative, and in terms of data collection time, it was cross-sectional, and in terms of data collection method or the nature and method of the research, it was quantitative descriptive-correlation. The studied population included all the professors of Tehran Azad University. The sample size of 219 was selected based on the calculation of the sample size in structural equations and the stepwise cluster random sampling method. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire with 63 items taken from theoretical foundations, research background and coding. In order to calculate validity, content and construct validity were used, as well as in order to calculate reliability, Cronbach's alpha coefficients and composite reliability were used, and the results indicated the validity and reliability of the tools. The method of data analysis included descriptive and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation, one-sample t-test and structural equation modeling). The findings showed that among the dimensions of philosophical mentality, the relationship with culture and art is the first priority; awareness and concentration of the second priority; Values and ethics are the third priority and creativity and innovation are the fourth priority.
