The purpose of this article is to investigate the role of operational budgeting in improving purchasing management in organizations. Today, operational budgeting in organizations plays an important role in improving purchasing management and creating efficiency in the purchasing process. Operational budgeting allows organizations to strategically allocate financial resources and design their purchasing plans based on strategic goals and operational needs. In addition to reducing financial losses, this management approach also improves efficiency and productivity in the purchasing process. Operational budgeting helps organizations to plan more accurately in the purchase and supply of materials and services. By allocating a specific amount to each part of the purchasing operation, organizations can more accurately determine which items are of higher priority and which require more resources. Therefore, operational budgeting can improve the purchasing decision-making process as well as productivity. Therefore, due to the importance of the role of operational budgeting in improving purchasing management in organizations, this issue was addressed and at the end of the article, practical suggestions were presented in relation to the issue.
