Identifying the existing issues and problems of organizations from an internal and external point of view, which ultimately leads to the discovery and explanation of internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats, is a part of the strategic planning process. Strategic management is a process through which organizations analyze their internal and external environment and gain knowledge from it. In addition to that, they establish their own strategic path, create strategies that help them to reach the set goals, and implement those strategies. One of the tools that is used in the strategy development stage to analyze internal and external strategic issues is the SWOT analysis, which is able to summarize the most important internal and external factors that can affect the future of an organization. Strategic planning is a powerful management tool that is designed to help organizations adapt themselves to the expected changes in the environment in a competitive way. The strategic planning process provides a view and analysis of the organization and its related environment, explains the current conditions of the organization or company, and identifies the key factors affecting its success. The purpose of this research is to develop a strategic plan for TDI product with the help of SWOT matrix and it is done in Karon Petrochemical Company. In this regard, based on the study of the company's documents and with the help of an interview with the managers and experts of the company, the weaknesses and strengths, opportunities and threats have been identified and displayed in the form of a SWOT matrix. Based on the dimensions of the matrix, strategies have been formulated in different situations.
