Abstract
Management in Iran faces numerous challenges across economic, social, and cultural dimensions, which have profound impacts on sustainable development and the quality of life of its people. From an economic perspective, financial instabilities, international sanctions, and a lack of diversity in income sources have led to issues such as unemployment, inflation, and economic inequalities. This situation not only exacerbates the decline in public welfare but also contributes to increasing social and political dissatisfaction. Socially, challenges such as a lack of social participation, gender and ethnic inequalities, and a decrease in public trust in government institutions are clearly observable. These problems can weaken social cohesion and escalate social tensions. Additionally, the various cultures and ethnic diversity in Iran, if not managed properly, can lead to conflicts and identity crises. From a cultural standpoint, rapid social changes and the introduction of new technologies into society necessitate a reconsideration of cultural and educational policies. The mismatch between educational content and contemporary needs, along with a lack of attention to local and ethnic identities, can result in a decline in educational quality and the weakening of indigenous cultures. This article examines these challenges and their impacts on management in Iran, offering solutions to improve economic, social, and cultural conditions. Ultimately, it emphasizes that achieving sustainable development requires managers to respond to these challenges with a comprehensive and systematic approach, strengthening inter-organizational cooperation and active participation from civil society.
