The present study aimed to investigate the role of information technology ambidexterity on employee job performance with regard to the mediating role of workforce agility. This study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of nature and method and is a correlational research type. The statistical population of this study includes all employees working in manufacturing companies in Tehran. Using the Cochran formula for unlimited communities, 384 people were estimated as a sample. In this study, the stratified random sampling method was used. The main data collection tool in this study is a standard questionnaire, which was used to examine the validity of the questionnaire for face and content validity. AVE values higher than 0.5 and factor loadings higher than 0.7 indicated appropriate convergent validity of the tool. Also, the reliability of the questionnaire was examined using two indices: Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability (CR). The results showed that the Cronbach's alpha and CR values for all research variables were higher than 0.7, indicating acceptable reliability of the measurement tool. Two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. In the descriptive statistics section, indicators such as mean, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage were used to describe the demographic characteristics of the respondents. In the inferential statistics section, structural equation modeling was used using SmartPLS software. The results showed that IT ambidexterity has a positive and significant effect on employee job performance. Also, workforce agility mediates this relationship.
