This study aimed to measure and analyze the role of the media in deepening citizen participation with the approach of improving crisis management. The present study is in the field of applied research in terms of its purpose. Also, considering that library study methods and field methods such as questionnaires were used in this study, it can be stated that the present study is a descriptive-survey and correlational research based on its nature and method. The statistical population of this study consisted of all users of the Iranian Broadcasting System in Tehran. In this study, cluster sampling method was used to select the sample. In this regard, 215 people were selected as the sample. In this study, library methods were used to collect information related to the literature of the subject and the background of the research, and field methods and instruments were used to collect information to confirm or reject the research hypotheses, and their validity and reliability were confirmed. In this study, descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used according to the research questions. In the descriptive part, IBM SPSS-23 Statistics software, version 2015, was used to describe demographic characteristics and also to describe variables. Also, in the inferential part, the structural equation model with SmartPLS-V3 software, version 2016, was used to test hypotheses. The results showed that the media has a significant effect on deepening citizen participation with the approach of improving crisis management.
