The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of positive thinking skills training on academic vitality and Job Aspirations of high school students in Tehran in 1400. The present study is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The statistical population of the study included 150 high school students in Tehran who were divided into experimental (n = 15) and control (n = 15) groups by random sampling. The experimental group received positive thinking skills training for 8 sessions and the control group did not receive any training. Data collection method was based on two questionnaires of exam stress (Sarason, 1984) and academic vitality (Hossein Chari and Dehghanizadeh, 2012). The reliability of the questionnaires was calculated using Cronbach's alpha method, the value of which was higher than 0.7 for both questionnaires. Content validity was also used to test the validity of the questionnaire, for which the questionnaires were approved by relevant experts. Analysis of information obtained from the questionnaires was performed through SPSS software in two descriptive and inferential sections (analysis of covariance). The results of data analysis showed that teaching positive thinking skills has a significant effect on students' academic vitality. Teaching positive thinking skills also increased students' career aspirations. Thus, positivist psychology intervention methods can increase students' academic vitality and career aspirations.
