Academic achievement is one of the most important concerns of today’s society, as students and their success shape the future. The present study aimed to determine the effectiveness of training based on Glasser’s Choice Theory on the academic progress of female high school students in Bushehr County. The research population comprised all female high school students in Bushehr County, and sampling was conducted randomly, selecting 30 students from the total population. From these 30 students, a pre-test was administered, and 15 were chosen as the control group and 15 as the experimental group. The experimental group then participated in 8 sessions of 60 minutes each, focusing on Glasser’s Choice Theory. During these training sessions, participants learned about recognizing and examining life goals, understanding needs, better fulfilling needs, accepting responsibility for choices, reinforcing responsible behavior, overall behavior, and more. After the training sessions, a post-test was administered to both the experimental and control groups, and the data were analyzed using t-test, Levene’s test, and multivariate regression analysis. The results of the study indicated that training based on Glasser’s Choice Theory is effective in enhancing cognitive styles, learning styles, and achievement goals of students.
